YoungCastro a rising artist from Brooklyn, NY, has been creating a unique lane for his music the past few years. With an unstable living situation growing up, this led Castro to move to various parts of the country as a kid. Being exposed to many things adolescents are not used to, Castro embodies the struggle and has used his music as a way out. Starting out just a few years ago, YoungCastro has delivered like a seasoned vet in just this short period of time.
Releasing his first project titled “Divination” back in 2020, this 7 track project really got things off the ground for Castro. Releasing another titled “The Awakening” in 2021, this one boasting a feature from major artist Xanman. This also led to a much larger fan base for Castro.
Dropping another project this time an EP featuring Sleezo B, Stackz Montana, and Mitchy, these artists were able to bring all their fanbases together. Transition to 2022, YoungCastro has a huge discography of music to choose from. Showing the pure growth in his music from 2020 to now, YoungCastro has always shown his ability to consistently drop hit songs. Making sure his rhymes are directly in line with his life, Castro takes the recording and writing processes very serious and speaks on his real life and daily encounters.
First performing his music in Connecticut, he then began bringing his music all over the US including places like Atlanta, New York, and Indiana, showing a strong stage presence as well. Looking to start off the year strong, YoungCastro has dropped another single titled “Slidin”.
Targeting those dealing with fake friends and those who do not like to support, YoungCastro wants his fellow artists and peers to know theres always going to be haters. What YoungCastro does instead of focusing on the negativity, he uses it as motivation and tones it out as best he can. What stands out most about Castro is his flow and lyrical ability.
