Hailing from Ocala, Florida, DUCE has been immersed in music for most of his life. While he’s been seriously making music since his sophomore year of high school, his love for melodies and harmonies developed much earlier, inspired by the music his father played around the house. This early exposure, especially to R&B, planted the seeds for his creative journey.
DUCE’s music defies categorization. While he primarily focuses on Underground Rap and R&B, he dabbles in multiple genres depending on his mood, giving his sound a dynamic edge. He doesn’t play instruments yet but has aspirations of learning the guitar and piano to further expand his musical range.
His journey, though still in its early stages, has been one of exploration and growth. Like many underground artists, DUCE began on BandLab before transitioning to FL Studio, where he has been honing his craft ever since. Influenced by artists like Sofaygo, Iayze (Jace), Bryson Tiller, and Chris Brown, he’s carving out a space for himself in the underground scene, blending melody with raw emotion to create tracks that resonate with listeners.
In 2023, DUCE dropped his debut EP Hotline, a project he describes as experimental. While the EP was his first major step into the world of music, he’s eager to show his audience the evolution of his sound in upcoming releases. He’s currently working on an album, which he promises will showcase his best work to date, and has a few exciting releases planned before the album drops. One of his most anticipated projects is called Isolation, which fans are eagerly awaiting.
DUCE’s most memorable moment so far may be a like and direct message from the legendary Zaytoven—an encouraging nod from one of the industry’s greats. As he continues to find his sound and push boundaries, DUCE is poised to make waves in both the underground and mainstream music scenes. Keep an eye on him as his story unfolds.
