The comedian’s first turn in Studio 8H will pair his online-born comedy with a returning New York rock institution.
Druski will make his Saturday Night Live hosting debut on November 7, with The Strokes joining him as musical guest. NBC’s October 22 lineup announcement confirms the pairing as part of three consecutive new episodes, turning the comedian’s previously reported booking into a fully announced show.
The Strokes will be making their fifth appearance as musical guest, bringing considerably more experience on the program than the night’s first-time host. The band is touring behind Reality Awaits, placing a current album campaign alongside Druski’s move onto one of television’s most recognizable comedy stages.
Druski arrives with an audience built through online sketches and characters, rather than a long run as a network sitcom lead. He recently reflected on how Drake’s “Laugh Now Cry Later” video changed his career, describing the 2020 appearance as a turning point that helped convert viral recognition into serious brand opportunities.
The hosting date also comes ahead of another television project. According to BroadwayWorld’s lineup report, his scripted comedy series Collect and Praise is scheduled to launch on Netflix in December, making the SNL appearance part of a wider move into scripted entertainment.
John Mulaney follows on November 14 for his seventh hosting appearance, with Phoebe Bridgers returning for her second solo musical-guest booking. Before either November episode, Inde Navarrette will host the October 31 Halloween show with Gracie Abrams, completing the newly detailed three-week stretch.
Saturday Night Live airs on NBC at 11:30 p.m. ET and 8:30 p.m. PT, with a simultaneous live stream on Peacock. For Druski, November 7 will be a new test of how the characters and instincts that built his digital following translate to the show’s live format.
