The comedian’s megachurch pastor character leads a new series under a multiyear streaming partnership.
Druski is bringing Collect & Praise to Netflix on December 1. The semi-scripted comedy launches a partnership announced November 2 between the streamer, the comedian and his company, 4LIFERS Entertainment.
Netflix’s announcement describes a multiyear agreement for exclusive programming. It expands his megachurch pastor character into a series.
The arrangement also covers selected work from his existing catalog. Netflix names Coulda Been Love, Coulda Been Daddy, Coulda Been Records Auditions and comedy sketches among the titles it will license.
Druski said the partnership would give his team resources to develop original programming and reach a larger global audience. Netflix executive John Derderian presented the series as the start of their collaboration.
Netflix dates Druski’s Instagram sketches to 2017 and notes his appearances in House Party, Praise This and Livestream from Hell.
Before the December premiere, Druski is scheduled to host Saturday Night Live on November 7.
