DJ Primetime is back on the grind with the release of “Ride Wit Me,” a collaboration with 1TakeJay and Dai Dmb. He reworks Nelly’s famous song “Ride Wit Me” from the early 2000s on the entertaining new tune, transporting his listeners back to the 2000s.
In the new track, “Ride Wit Me,” DJ Primetime enlists the help of 1TakeJay and Dai Dmb to sample Nelly’s classic smash single “Ride Wit Me,” which features City Spud from Nelly’s rap group St. Lunatics. DJ Primetime breathes fresh life into this classic, giving it a smash song for a whole new generation and allowing a whole new fan base to appreciate it.
Primetime was inspired for the remix by the original track’s lovely guitar strums, which he turned into the track’s focal point, putting 1TakeJay and Dai Dmb (a great combination), in the spotlight. The song has a captivating aura that can transform anyone’s attitude into one of happiness, joy, and carefreeness. That, according to Primetime, is the song’s goal: to evoke a feeling of “fun, care-free energy, on some Bonnie and Clyde,” vibes. The trio produces an anthem, and his hit is guaranteed to have people turning the volume up.
Primetime hasn’t let us down yet, as he reigns supreme when it comes to remixing and turning old tunes into real party hits! Primetime also sampled Montell Jordan’s “This Is How We Do It” earlier this year, releasing his own version called “How We Do It” alongside BlueBucksClan and Chris O’Bannon, demonstrating his ability to remix a nostalgic anthem into a great party song.
Not to mention his ability to produce anthems like “Tear It Up,” a collaboration between Vinny West and Famous Uno that went viral in 2016, it was clear that DJ Primetime was an artist to keep an eye on, as he accomplished so much in the last five years that we can’t wait to see what the artist has in store for us next.
