DeMarcus Cousins Reportedly Has No FA Market, May Get Mid-Level Contract

When the Golden State Warriors entered free-agency this time last year, they were two-time defending champs and were poised for the elusive three-peat after acquiring DeMarcus Cousins on a one-year deal.

Cousins, who was coming off of a torn Achilles, worked himself into a rotation that already boasted four all-stars. However, DeMarcus never really looked like himself all season and the Warriors ultimately succumbed to injuries in the Finals and lost the championship.

A year that Cousins was hoping would be financially and professionally promising has turned into the complete opposite. The former lottery pick out of Kentucky is reportedly drumming up zero interest on the free agent market according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The best possible scenario for Cousins to receive a competitive offer would be from either the Lakers or Clippers – whichever team doesn’t land Kawhi Leonard.

Is there a market for DeMarcus Cousins?
