Dallas Artist Lil Quincy Links Up With CovonDaDon

Recently, the state of Texas has been a huge focus in the rap community. Artists like Meg The Stallion and MO3 have paved the way for a lot of new talent. Two artists in particular have really become trendsetters in their community; Lil Quincy and CovonDaDon.

Originally from the city of Dallas, both Quincy and Covon grew up in the same church. This early friendship would eventually grow into a legendary partnership. Lil Quincy (who we featured previously), has been making major moves in the DFW area for several years.

His social media presence has become a huge booster for his career; in fact, this year he premiered his podcast titled “3rdCoastBorn”. It’s on his podcast where Quincy discusses current events, topics and the world of music in the DFW area. Lil Quincy and CovonDaDon linked back up right before Quincy’s tour date in Atlanta. This collaboration came naturally, due to their childhood friendship.

CovonDaDon is actually an artist with a story to tell. At only 30 years old, Covon has already been shot nine times. According to Covon, “God showed me I have a message to spread with the world; wake up!” Both Quincy and Covon tell about wanting to help change the world for the better.
