Hailing from Montreal and currently based in Toronto and Ottawa, BTXE is an exciting pop duo formed by Bianca Taillefer and Elissa Khalife-Sayah. Their name combines the initials of their real names, reflecting their connection and time spent as best friends making music since 2020.
Their single, “Nightmare,” continues the narrative established in their previous track, “Monsters.” While “Monsters” explored mental health challenges, “Nightmare” addresses the burden of past memories that can prevent us from moving forward. An anthem and genre bending opportunity to bring like minded powerful women together. The single is also a collaboration alongside Latin pop artist Nana aka @itsthecrazylatiina and Atlanta rapper Omeretta the Great @meretta
Beyond their musical pursuits, Bianca is passionate about fitness and spending time outdoors, while Elissa enjoys painting and experimenting in the kitchen.
