CheYu Sui, also known as BeatBySui and RickyOnTheTrack, makes extraordinary beats and is an up and coming DJ. He is currently studying MCS at the University Of Washington. Originally from China, he started with the hip-hop genre. In the summer of 2019, he went to a beat-making competition in China, and his final rank was number eight out of over 2,000 players.
When we asked BeatBySui what his goals were, he said, “…to be a Grammy music producer; a World famous DJ. I want to DJ at big festivals such as EDC, Ultra and more…and get known in the Asain community. Travel the world to meet different people and make different genres of music.”
BeatBySui met drt kannilaoshi aka Drt, a Taiwan OG rapper and YouTuber. They made many hit songs, and the most famous one was called KSX and featured counter656 video production. At that time, they also worked with Multiverse music and Broya icebox, and they made the 2021 League of Legends Asian E-Sports Opening Theme Song – BeatBySui made the beat himself.
In 2022, he started making house music and last month he received his first open format DJ show in San Jose where he was able to showcase his talents. He says, “I didn’t change my music style, and I added my beats combined with house music. I think this is my style, and I want to make it bigger.”
He is currently not signed with any label, but BeatBySui is currently working on his EP and will release it in mid June of 2022.
