As they sneak out of the shadows of LA and The Bay, the San Diego hip-hop culture continues to grow. Meet FollowJoJoe, one of the toughest workers in the music industry right now, putting out video after video and song after single to retain his name on the streets. He made his official debut with a video for his popular tune “Ketchup,” and has been on a roll ever since. Now, in 2022 he says that he has a plan, and a vision, and that “nothing’s going to stop [him] from reaching it.”
Nick Rodriguez, his right-hand man and prominent film maker, shot and directed the “Ketchup” visual, which has JoJoe dropping bars inside a stop sign built entirely of candles, creating one illuminated visual. This was just once example of FollowJoJoe gaining prominence on the scene and building a legacy of his own. His talent and reputation speaks for itself and he’s known to deliver on just about any project he’s apart of.
Set in his hometown stomping grounds, songs such as “Ketchup” and “Daygo Nights” for example, holds true to FollowJoJoe’s signature street styles this time tapping in with the West Coast’s bests for the head-bobbing hook. His songs paint a picture of unfiltered and sometimes fun realities of his lifestyle.

After taking some time off of music to focus more on his personal life, FollowJoJoe has positioned himself as somebody who’s on the scene who’s definitely making noise and is coming back harder this year with more content.
