Independent electronic music producer Andrew Jous is using music to build worlds beyond the ordinary.
Blending Organic House, Afro House, Melodic House and cinematic sound design, Jous creates immersive productions inspired by nature, ancient civilizations, folklore and storytelling. His work is driven by a desire to make music that feels visual, even without images.
For Jous, each track is more than a release. It is part of a larger emotional experience built through melodies, organic instruments, orchestral elements and atmospheric textures.
“I don’t want people to simply listen to my music,” Jous said. “I want them to feel like they’ve stepped into another world.”
One of his most distinctive projects is “LELE,” a conceptual musical journey inspired by Romanian folklore, forests, forgotten legends and the spiritual beauty of nature. The project blends traditional Romanian influences with modern electronic production, creating a sound rooted in culture while presented through a contemporary cinematic lens.
Following “LELE,” Jous expanded his creative vision with “ATLANTIS,” an ambitious five-chapter cinematic music project inspired by the legendary lost civilization. Rather than releasing the project as separate singles, Jous designed “ATLANTIS” as a complete story told through music. Each chapter represents a different stage in the rise, glory, fall and spiritual rebirth of Atlantis.
To deepen the experience, Jous created an original fictional language exclusively for the project. Vocals in “ATLANTIS” are performed in the invented language, giving the music a timeless and mysterious quality while allowing listeners to connect with the emotion of the sound without being limited by words.
A major milestone in Jous’ career is his collaboration with Cafe De Anatolia, one of the world’s respected Organic House labels. With a formal contract in place, Jous is working with the label to bring his cinematic electronic vision to a wider international audience, further positioning “ATLANTIS” as one of his most ambitious creative projects to date.
Beyond production, Jous is closely involved in the complete artistic identity behind each project, including visual storytelling, cinematic artwork, promotional videos and conceptual world-building. His goal is not only to release tracks, but to create immersive universes where music, visuals and emotion work together as one experience.
With several new releases in development, Jous continues to push the boundaries between electronic music and cinematic storytelling. Through each project, he invites listeners to explore imagined worlds shaped by sound, culture and emotion.
