Billboard-charting musician AJDaGuru surprised fans last year with two singles from his debut album A Different Side Of Me. For his song titled “Seen It All“, AJ received a music plaque from Spotify for the song reaching over one million streams.
Following that, AJ released “Love Yourself” in the summer of 2021, a song dedicated to mental health victims dealing with tough times. The song has seen a great deal of success since making its debut on the Spotify USA chart at number 93. In addition, it has charted on Billboard’s LyricFind global chart at number nine for the week of December 4, 2021.
Though many believed AJ would release A Different Side Of Me last year, the project was never made available in 2021. Instead, AJ continued to work on new material in the months following his Billboard chart debut. Fans all over the world have been waiting patiently for the collection to drop. One fan even went as far as taking to Instagram live to let the world know she is anticipating AJ’s upcoming song “Sweep You Up.” Although the album has not been released yet, AJ has provided fans with sneak peeks of tunes that will appear on the release.
On May 18, 2022, AJ posted on his Instagram stories a picture of what seemed to be a digital audio workstation and a caption on the stories that read “Album done It’s about to be a hot summa!!!!”. From the looks of the post made on his Instagram stories, it looks like fans will finally get a taste of AJDaGuru’s debut album by summertime. As the hot weather approaches, we’ll have to wait and see if AJ announces anything about the album’s release date.
