Sudbury, Ontario — Rising artist Absolon Brisson, better known by his stage name Ab2real, is quickly making a name for himself in the Canadian rap scene. What started as a hobby just a month ago has already evolved into a powerful mission: to help people improve their mental state through music.
“I started making music for fun,” says Ab2real, “but I realized I had potential—and I wanted to share that with people.” His songs are driven by honesty, emotion, and the desire to inspire others to keep pushing forward no matter what they’re going through.
Working alongside his producer Brandon Hass, who crafts the beats that bring Ab2real’s lyrics to life, the young artist is focused on growth and collaboration. “Brandon makes really good beats,” he says. “I want people to go show him support too.”
While Ab2real hasn’t yet performed live, he’s eager to take the stage and connect with audiences face-to-face. “I’m looking forward to performing as soon as I can,” he shares. For him, performing isn’t just about showcasing his talent—it’s about spreading positivity and showing others that they’re not alone.
Looking ahead, Ab2real has big dreams. “I want to become successful in the music industry as an artist in Canada, and possibly worldwide someday,” he says. But above all, his message remains grounded in hope and encouragement:
“I hope everyone keeps their head up and doesn’t be scared to chase their dreams, because it’s only gonna get better ❤️🩹.”
With raw talent, determination, and a message that resonates deeply, Ab2real is an artist to watch—a voice emerging from Sudbury with a heart full of purpose and a vision that extends far beyond himself.
