Cj The Prince And Ohjay Feast Together On Latest Collaborative Effort “Twenty1twelve”

Both Cj the Prince and Ohjay have a similar motto when it comes to making music: To provide the world with music that is thought provoking, enjoyable to listen to and easy to digest, all while remaining true to natural artistic abilities within the art form.

Thus, they have linked up again to release “twenty1twelve,” a track that serves as a staple in both their discographies and follows up their first collab “Magnum Opus.”

To sum up the two MCs’ latest track, it feels like they both just triumphantly overcame losses.  Both tapped into that feeling of abandonment and reconciled with their decisions together, which certainly provides the song with the power that it has.  One listen is all it takes to put a listener directly in four separate shoes — two for each artist.

“Both of us have endured [lost relationships] within our personal lives…and we’ve all somewhat experienced a feeling of abandonment,” the two rappers said.  “Along with this comes many other things discussed within both verses, but the gist summed up kind of gives off the feeling of overcoming a loss in a triumphant manner.”

What’s great about these Cj the Prince and Ohjay is that while they thrive when together, they are also capable of spreading their wings and flying on their own.  A collaborative album between the two is being mixed and mastered as of this article’s publication; in addition, both MCs have solo projects in the works that are set to beef up their rapidly growing catalogs.

If one is company and two is a crowd, then these guys don’t need anyone to help them out on their journeys to the top.  It’s only a matter of time before you see Cj the Prince and Ohjay making a splash with the biggest names in the game, whether it be together or not.
