FortManny Bets is a busy man, he recently released his new song “Everday” with an anticipated EP coming out next year, he fit us into his busy schedule to answer a few questions about how he earned his success and musical sound.
Are there things you did in your life where things just got much easier after you made a change?
Yes, when I started giving music my all I felt more at peace with life. Being in the studio became very therapeutic for me.
It helped balance my mental health greatly.
Is success for you more about money or time?
That’s a really good question but honestly, success for me is neither of those things. It’s more so of a feeling with me you know.
Especially when I see the fans enjoying my new music, to me that feels like a form of success that is harder to obtain than money.
Having a lot of which one makes you feel more successful?
Success for me is neither of those things, success for me is also being able to finally see my family not struggling.
Seeing my family happy and not struggling is the best thing ever in my life and I’m glad God gave me the chance to see that and help them too through my success in the music industry.
What made you get into music?
My homies influenced me to get into music. They see the lifestyle that I live and told me to rap about it.
Rapping was easy because I really lived everything I talked about. And that energy resonates with authenticity in my music.
If you could compare yourself to one artist who would it be?
I would compare myself to Money Man because I feel like he makes music that makes him happy and explains his life story.
This has always been a theme in my music.
What’s your goal with music?
My goal with music is to make my listeners happy, and when they listen to my music they sink into it and forget their world problems while also motivating them to solve them, you know what I mean?
With a new EP approaching, when can we expect to hear new music?
I have been in the lab working hard on this EP and with the first single currently being a success, Im looking to drop the next single in December of this year followed by the full EP and a tour at the start of 2023!
