Kenneth Campbell, better known as Shorty Foe from the Pole, is a Jamaican rapper who started making music while in a Juvenile Penitentiary. He considered music an escape from the cells, making him feel like he was still free. Shorty Foe is from the North Side of Chicago and is the CEO of Polar Baby Records. As he says, “I can rap better than anyone else.”
When it comes to the future, Shorty Foe has big goals for himself. “I want to win a grammy award. I want to make ways for my family, friends and loved ones so they can get further in life. I want to help and protect the culture,” he said. He is currently signed to DreamGang Ent / Sony Orchard and frequently collaborates with @Apollobeats and @Deemac on his music. He is set to release a mixtape, coming next month, along with multiple singles behind it.
His biggest supporter was always his mother, no matter what, right or wrong, good or bad. Shorty Foe has put everything he has into his music and encourages his listeners to live each day like it’s your last.
