My artist name is @Prod.ByWretched and I’m from San Diego California, I’ve never lived anywhere else but here. I hope to one day move to somewhere like Los Angeles but for the time being San Diego is and has always been my home my whole life.
Why I love music is because it’s timeless, it’s transcendent, it resonates on your soul. You can hear a song you haven’t heard for 20 years and snap back to that exact moment. Music is nostalgic, it’s freedom of expression it’s just all around beautiful. Music is also one of the things that I feel never dies. A song that was amazing years ago gets sampled and it’s amazing in its own way. Music is like a universal language we all feel. It doesn’t matter who you are where your from or any of that music is a part of every single persons life. Even if you listen to nature, nature makes music. Music is life.
I personally think what separates me from other artists is the vibrations and frequencies of the music I make. I’m a spiritual being and truly believe that when you put your soul into the music people can hear it. Most importantly when you put your soul into it, people can feel the music. Also in the beats I make I like to leave plenty of room for the artists to be themselves. In other words I think what separates me is my simple yet complex style of production. I like to incorporate a lot of different types of sounds in my production that normally aren’t used or used in the way I use them rather.
In 5 years I see myself making at like 3 major hits and laying the foundation for my business. I hope to make music what I do for a living. My brother Brokenstarr is a great engineer and my other brother Bambitho is a wise business man so we’re looking to open a studio potentially. I also plan on expanding my clothing brand called “wretched”. To make music for a living has always been a dream of mine but being able to provide for my family would hit different and that’s what I’m aiming for. I also plan to have taught my daughter how to produce within the next 5 years. I plan to work with many artists in the next five years as I expand my brand. I’ve only worked with a few artists who aren’t from my city but it’s definitely on my agenda. I love Los Angeles, Bay Area and other Northern California cities music so in the next 5 years I hope to really expand with some artists from these places. I also plan to have a well known name in the music game in the next 5 years.
I plan to accomplish being a good father for my daughter that’s truly what I do all I do for. I plan to set her up with a life that isn’t how mine was.
I feel like once you have a child you truly have a chance to help mold a person to be great. But as for music because Mac Dre RIP could never get on my beats one of the biggest accomplishments I could ever achieve is producing for chief keef. He my all time favorite artist for sure beside Mac Dre and getting to that level is what I plan to accomplish with music in my life time.
Honestly I feel I bring a new edition of the classic sound from the west coast in my music and mix it with a lot of futuristic sounding synths. A producer friend of mine named NickNoxx calls the type of beats “blaps”. Heavy bass lines tricky hi hats and either beautiful or dark melodies depending on my mood. I feel overall I just bring good energy and vibrations to the music world. I don’t just make like west coast stuff I’m actually really into hyperpop as well.
I want to be remembered for being myself and for the genuine love that I show and give to people. I want to be remembered for being pure. I want to be remembered for making timeless music that shapes generations to come. I want to be remembered as the best father ever to my daughter.
