Based on very preliminary data, Post Malone’s “Hollywood’s Bleeding” is pacing to deliver one of the year’s best opening week performances.
According to Hits Daily Double, the album is projected to sell 190-215K pure US sales this week. With units from track sales and streams included, it may generate 450-500K in total first-week consumption.
Initial projections can be rough, but it is already clear that “Hollywood’s Bleeding” will be a dominant #1 on this week’s US album chart. If the 450-500K consumption projection holds, “Hollywood’s Bleeding” will have also delivered the second-biggest opening of 2019 (after Taylor Swift’s “Lover”).
The feature heavy project saw the artist joining alongside Travis Scott, Future, Ozzy Osbourne, Young Thug, SZA, and more, honing in his usual sound that infuses everything from rock to hip-hop. “I think this record, the new record is something super epic and I think it’s really cool.
