Soulja Boy to Be Released From Jail Early for “Good Behavior”

This past April, Soulja Boy was sentenced to 240 days in jail after violating his probation. The rapper reportedly failed to complete a court-ordered community service then attempted to falsify documents saying he completed the community service. Now, reports surfaced noting the rapper has been released 146 days early.

In total, the rapper only spent a little over three months in jail, but was ultimately granted an early release because of good behavior as well as overcrowding according to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department. This comes after prosecutors rejected his kidnapping case due to insufficient evidence.

According to the rapper’s manager, Soulja Boy is expected to be out on August 2nd, 2019.
