Transforming into an art work when not in use.

Samsung has unveiled its latest TV offering, dubbed the Wall Luxury model. Unveiled at InfoComm 2019, the TV is an update of Samsung’s micro LED screen named the Wall, and can be tailored to fit any size and aspect ratio depending on the room.

The different options for the screen range from 73 inches (approx. 1.85m) and 2K definition to a massive 292 inches (approx. 7.4m) with 8k definition, twice as big as the 146 inch version that was launched in 2018. No matter which size and ratio is chosen, the Wall Luxury will come with a depth under 30mm and a slim, bezel-less design that can be customized with different frames.

The Wall Luxury also features self-emitting diodes with 100,000 hours of life, which means the screen never turns off but changes into a “digital canvas” in keeping with its surroundings. While the screen is not being used, an Ambient Mode can be activated that allows the viewer to choose between paintings, photographs and video art.

Elsewhere, the new screen is set to come with the Quantum Processor Flex, which guarantees quality resolution through AI and machine learning, and audio capabilities designed alongside Harman Luxury Audio and Steinway Lyngdorf.

Samsung has yet to announce pricing for The Wall Luxury, but at these sizes and specs it’s likely to be a case of, “if you have to ask, then you probably can’t afford it.”

Take a look at the Wall Luxury in the gallery above, and expect the TV to be available as soon as July 2019.
