A transforming Cirque du Soleil design turned Megan’s Las Vegas Halloween entrance into a production of its own.
Megan Thee Stallion brought an elaborate orange, black and white costume to Hottieween in Las Vegas, pairing the event’s circus theme with Cirque du Soleil’s theatrical design. The outfit was built to change throughout the evening, moving from a dramatic entrance piece into something she could wear while celebrating.
CNN’s reporting on the costume details the scale of that work: 23 artists spent more than 700 hours creating the look, using over 50 yards of fabric. Designer Miodrag “Mio” Guberinic worked alongside Cirque creative director Gabriel Dubé-Dupuis on the project.

The centerpiece was an origami-style pumpkin skirt made from 12 nearly six-foot panels. Its construction incorporated 13 3D-printed jester decorations and more than 50 magnets, allowing the skirt to separate into four sections rather than remain a single rigid garment.
The design also featured an accordion sleeve assembled from 120 individually patterned pieces. Those details made transformation part of the costume’s purpose: the entrance silhouette could give way to a different look as the night continued.

The party was held October 30 at Zouk Nightclub inside Resorts World Las Vegas, which had announced a costumes-required event for guests 21 and older. The resort’s Halloween programming placed Megan’s celebration on Friday, ahead of a separate Chase & Status appearance the following evening.
The circus idea extended to the campaign introducing the party. A black-and-white short developed by Droga5 and director Olivia de Camps drew on suggestions from Facebook horror communities, using practical sets and handmade masks. Together, the film and the costume gave Hottieween a visual identity that reached beyond a single Halloween photograph.
