LL COOL J’s first Las Vegas residency will bring Rock the Bells to Dolby Live for 11 performances in May and July 2027.
LL COOL J is taking Rock the Bells to Las Vegas. Announced October 29, his first residency will open May 15, 2027, at Dolby Live at Park MGM, with five May performances and six more in July.
The venue’s schedule lists May 15, 16, 19, 21 and 22, followed by July 9, 10, 11, 14, 16 and 17. Shows are scheduled for 8 p.m., with doors opening an hour earlier, giving fans two distinct windows to plan a visit.
LL is presenting the engagement as a shared celebration rather than a one-artist retrospective. In the announcement, he described bringing performers from different generations and musical traditions together for longtime listeners and newer fans.
The title carries a direct connection to his own catalog: “Rock the Bells” appeared on his 1985 debut album, Radio. That familiar name now connects an early recording to a live concept designed to reach beyond one period of his career.
Rock the Bells also operates as a broader platform, founded by LL in 2018 to celebrate hip-hop culture. The residency extends that work into a fixed venue, instead of asking audiences to follow a touring route from city to city.
Fans should distinguish presale access from the general ticket release when checking availability. The announced general sale is November 2 at 10 a.m. Pacific, while individual ticket listings already show earlier presale windows; the official venue and ticket pages provide the dates for each performance.
