Lita Ford’s new single pairs a gothic character study with the first release of her Frontiers Music partnership.

Lita Ford has released “Dracula,” her first single for Frontiers Music Srl, alongside an official video. The October 27 arrival follows last week’s label announcement and gives listeners a recording to accompany the guitarist’s plans for a new phase of her solo career.

As The Music Universe reports, Gary Hoey produced the song and Max Norman mixed it. Ford and Hoey perform on the track with drummer Bobby Rock, bringing the same core collaborators into its dark, guitar-led setting.

Ford describes the title character as a seductive, controlling force rather than simply a familiar movie monster. Her explanation presents the song as a fantasy about the attraction of danger, with slide-guitar sounds helping establish its atmosphere.

The single also points toward music planned for 2027, although this announcement does not provide an album title or exact release date. Blabbermouth’s earlier signing report identified the forthcoming project as a follow-up to 2012’s Living Like a Runaway.

That distinction matters because Ford subsequently released Time Capsule in 2016, drawing on previously unreleased archival recordings. Her catalogue also includes the 1988 album Lita, home to “Kiss Me Deadly” and her Ozzy Osbourne duet “Close My Eyes Forever.”

The Halloween release week will continue onstage. Ford is scheduled to perform at Las Vegas’ Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino on October 30, followed by Agua Caliente Resort Casino in Rancho Mirage, California, on October 31.
