Burna Boy joined Dave for “Location” during the rapper’s October 17 Lagos finale, with Oxlade also appearing on the night.
Dave brought out Burna Boy for “Location” in Lagos on October 17, adding a guest performance to the final night of his The Boy Who Played the Harp tour. HypeTribe’s live coverage documented the appearance at the National Theatre, with NotJustOk sharing footage from the show.
The concert was the second of two scheduled Lagos performances at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts, formerly known as the National Theatre. Dave’s official itinerary confirms the October 17 date, while the original announcement described the October 16 and 17 shows as his first headline performances in Nigeria and the closing stops of the tour.
According to HypeTribe, clips of Burna Boy performing with Dave began appearing shortly before midnight local time, followed by NotJustOk’s own post. Their reunion revisited “Location,” the 2019 collaboration that appeared on Dave’s debut album Psychodrama. The song was an established part of their shared catalog, not a newly announced release.
Oxlade also joined Dave, performing “Intoxycated,” according to HypeTribe’s report and the TurnTable Charts clip it cited. Oxlade subsequently acknowledged the appearance on his own X account. The accompanying NotJustOk footage captures the separate Burna Boy guest spot, rather than either artist’s earlier shows on the tour.
The Lagos dates were presented by Live Nation and MASSIVE, following Dave’s touring across Europe and North America and his South African dates. The original June announcement positioned the Nigerian performances as the concluding shows.
The tour shares its name with Dave’s third studio album, The Boy Who Played the Harp, released on October 24, 2025. Saturday’s event brought that album cycle to Lagos while also drawing on the older collaborations that connect Dave with Nigerian artists.
