South Florida rapper THARILIS turns the end of a toxic relationship into a declaration of independence on “Narcissist (Bye Bye).”
THARILIS is closing the door on a relationship that has run its course with “Narcissist (Bye Bye),” released September 18, 2026. The single previews her seven-track album STILL HER, due October 2, introducing a project centered on betrayal, personal growth and protecting her sense of self.
Of Puerto Rican and Dominican descent, the South Florida artist blends candid writing about relationships and self-worth with an irreverent sense of humor. The release announcement describes a lightly synthesized bass line and a melodic backdrop supporting THARILIS’s midtempo delivery. Her Nuyorican accent and Southern inflections give the performance its character, while the conversational phrasing turns a breakup into a direct address to someone who has exhausted their chances.
The hook, “I tried, but my love inside has died,” captures the emotional turning point. Instead of holding out for reconciliation, the song follows the shift from disappointment to detachment, making the goodbye feel like a boundary rather than a bargaining tactic.
That perspective extends across STILL HER, presented in the release announcement as THARILIS’s most unfiltered body of work to date.
