Swedish House Mafia Make Ullevi Their Only European Stop for 2027 With Four Shows

The Swedish trio will bring a new stadium production to Gothenburg for four nights, with no other European shows planned for 2027.

Swedish House Mafia are making Ullevi Stadium the destination for their next European live chapter. Announced on September 10, the group’s return to Gothenburg, Sweden, will span July 2, 3, 9 and 10, 2027, placing four performances across two weekends at the same venue.

Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso will present a production created specifically around Ullevi and its atmosphere. In the announcement supplied by MOTIF, the group ruled out a European arena tour, a wider European stadium tour and European festival appearances in 2027, making the four Gothenburg nights their only planned European shows of the year.

The scale of the 2027 run follows a landmark appearance at the same stadium on August 29, 2026. The sold-out performance drew nearly 66,000 people and was described by promoters as Swedish House Mafia’s biggest concert to date, as well as a major attendance milestone for electronic music in the Nordic region. The night reinforced Ullevi’s importance to the group and provided the foundation for their decision to return with an even larger four-show residency-style run.

That weekend also carried an unexpected chapter. Swedish House Mafia’s planned August 28, 2026 Ullevi concert was cancelled because of severe weather, including thunder and lightning. The trio responded the following day with a free appearance at Götaplatsen in central Gothenburg before continuing with their scheduled stadium performance later that evening, turning what had begun as a disrupted weekend into one of the most memorable moments of their recent live history.

“Standing in the heart of Gothenburg, we felt something. The scale, the energy, the connection,” the trio said in the 2027 announcement, reflecting on the experience that brought them back to a Swedish stadium audience. Rather than taking the new production across several European cities, Swedish House Mafia are concentrating the entire European chapter in Gothenburg, effectively making the city a destination for fans who want to experience the show.

Ullevi is well suited to that approach. Opened in 1958, the stadium is Sweden’s largest major outdoor arena and has hosted some of the biggest touring acts in the world. For Swedish House Mafia, however, the venue now carries a more personal significance after the scale of their 2026 performance and the events surrounding that weekend.

Artist presale begins September 15 at noon CEST, as confirmed on the official registration page, with registration closing on September 14 at 11:59 p.m. CEST. General sale follows on September 19, 2026, through Ticketmaster, which lists all four Ullevi dates.

There is also a separate priority opportunity for fans who held tickets to the cancelled August 28, 2026, concert. Those ticket holders will receive exclusive presale access to the 2027 performances using a personal code through Ticketmaster, according to the announcement, giving affected fans an earlier opportunity to secure tickets for the return.

The plans extend beyond the stadium itself, with pop-ups, dedicated fan spaces and merchandise stores announced across Gothenburg during the concert dates. By pairing a venue-specific production with activities throughout the city, Swedish House Mafia are building the four-night run as a broader destination event rather than a traditional stop on a touring schedule.

With no other European arena dates, stadium concerts or festival appearances planned for 2027, the Ullevi shows will carry added significance for fans across the continent.
