Sue Naegle and Ali Krug are moving Dinner Party Productions to 20th Television under a new multi-year pact that will put the company to work across Disney Entertainment’s television portfolio.

Dinner Party Productions has signed a multi-year overall deal with 20th Television, shifting the production banner from its previous home at UCP. Under the agreement, founders Sue Naegle and Ali Krug will develop and produce series for platforms and brands across Disney Entertainment, according to Deadline.

The move comes after Dinner Party’s run at UCP, where the company had been under an overall deal since 2024. The banner recently produced Peacock’s The Five Star Weekend, the Jennifer Garner-led drama that became the streamer’s most-watched scripted original and was renewed for a second season, with Naegle and Krug expected to remain executive producers.

Naegle and Krug said they were excited to begin the next chapter at 20th Television and thanked Disney Entertainment leaders Debra O’Connell, Craig Erwich and Karey Burke for backing the company. The new deal gives Dinner Party Productions a broad development lane inside Disney’s television ecosystem while allowing the producers to build on relationships formed through earlier projects.

The pair already have history with Disney-backed programming. Naegle executive produced Fox’s The Big Leap, while she and Krug worked on Hulu titles including Pam & Tommy and Monsterland; their wider producing credits also include The Staircase, Dead Ringers, The Changeling and I Love That for You.

20th Television president Karey Burke praised Naegle’s standing with creators and described her as a leader known for collaboration, candor and a strong commitment to the work. Dinner Party has also promoted Aquinnah Fox to director of development, with Fox reporting directly to Naegle and Krug as the company enters its new studio chapter.

Before launching Dinner Party Productions, Naegle served as chief content officer at Annapurna Pictures after earlier leading HBO Entertainment, while Krug was co-head of television at Annapurna. Their move to 20th Television positions the company to expand its scripted slate while continuing to develop projects with top-tier talent and established intellectual property.
