Yung Miami Recruits Lil Baby and Kodak Black for “Spend Dat” Remix

Published on August 28, 2026

Yung Miami is extending the run of her biggest solo record with a new “Spend Dat” remix featuring Lil Baby and Kodak Black.

Yung Miami has officially released the “Spend Dat” remix with Lil Baby and Kodak Black, giving the breakout single a new Southern rap lineup as its 2026 run continues. The track arrived Friday, August 28, and is available as a one-song release through Yung Miami LLC under exclusive license to Uptown Records, a division of UMG Recordings.

The revamped version keeps Yung Miami at the center while adding new appearances from the two guests. Lil Baby brings an Atlanta perspective built around luxury spending, while Kodak Black closes the record with a Florida connection that pairs him with the Miami rapper on one of her most visible solo releases to date.

The remix follows months of momentum for the J. White Did It-produced original, which Yung Miami released in April. “Spend Dat” went on to become her biggest solo hit, reaching the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 and establishing itself as one of the year’s major rap records after gaining traction online, in clubs and at high-profile appearances.

Yung Miami had been openly discussing plans for a remix before the final lineup was revealed. In June, she told Complex that Drake was an artist she wanted for the record, but the finished U.S. remix instead brings together Lil Baby and Kodak Black, with the collaboration officially landing after being teased earlier this week.

The release is also part of a broader remix push. Yung Miami issued a separate international version of “Spend Dat” with Davido, Shenseea and Vybz Kartel, expanding the record beyond its original format while the domestic remix leans into a distinctly Southern rap combination.

For Yung Miami, the new version arrives as she continues building her post-City Girls solo chapter. “Spend Dat” has become a defining record in that transition, and adding Lil Baby and Kodak Black gives the song another high-profile update four months after the original first arrived.
