50 Cent Trolls Keffe D Over Diddy Claim Ahead of Tupac Murder Trial

50 Cent has once again inserted himself into the conversation surrounding Tupac Shakur’s murder case, this time mocking Duane “Keffe D” Davis after the defendant denied that Sean “Diddy” Combs played any role in the deaths of Tupac or The Notorious B.I.G.

During a recent jailhouse interview, Davis said he did not believe Combs was responsible for either killing, contradicting earlier allegations attributed to him involving a supposed $1 million offer. Reacting on Instagram, 50 Cent joked about using Polymarket to bet that Davis would receive 20 years in prison, according to Complex.

The remark was delivered in 50’s familiar trolling style, but it also drew attention to the conflicting accounts Davis has provided over the years. His previous interviews and 2019 memoir are expected to become important parts of the prosecution’s case, while his defense maintains that many of those stories were exaggerated or shared for financial gain.

Davis has pleaded not guilty to murder with the use of a deadly weapon in connection with Tupac’s fatal 1996 shooting. Prosecutors do not accuse him of firing the shots, but they allege that he helped organize the retaliatory attack and supplied the weapon used after a confrontation involving his nephew, Orlando Anderson.

Combs has not been charged in connection with the murders of Tupac or Biggie, and speculation surrounding his alleged involvement remains unproven. Davis’ latest denial only adds another contradiction to a case already complicated by decades of interviews, disputed confessions and competing theories.

With jury selection beginning in Las Vegas, 50 Cent’s post has brought additional attention to a trial that is already expected to become one of the most closely watched proceedings in hip-hop history. Davis could face life in prison without parole if convicted, making 50’s proposed 20-year wager another provocative joke surrounding a deeply serious case.
