Treety Is The New Queen Of New Orleans Hip-Hop Teasing “HI MY NAME IS”

There’s a new name buzzing in the South — and she’s putting New Orleans back at the center of the conversation. Treety, the city’s latest rap powerhouse, is redefining what it means to be a woman in Southern hip-hop. One that is confident, unapologetic, and deeply rooted in her hometown’s soul.

Born and raised in New Orleans, Treety embodies the sound, energy, and unfiltered truth of the Crescent City. From freestyling over borrowed beats to lighting up packed local clubs, her come-up has been all gas, no gimmicks.

Her breakout single, “Makin’ Love”, set the streets and the internet ablaze in summer 2023, marking her first big moment as an artist on the rise. The record’s success led to a meeting with Create Music Group, where Treety officially signed under new management that August. In doing so, it became a pivotal move that solidified her as one to watch in the new generation of Southern rap voices.

With her visuals, she’s hands-on and visionary. Painting cinematic portraits of New Orleans through fashion, storytelling, and presence. “If you’ve never been to New Orleans, you gonna wanna go,” she says. And when you hear her music, you’ll want to meet Treety too.

Her follow-up single, “Is U Stupid,” produced by BlaqNmilD, doubled down on her unique fusion of bars and bounce, expanding her sound while staying true to her roots. And now, she’s ready to level up once again with her upcoming record, “Ain’t No Fun” featuring Rob49 with production by WillNoSleep, Avo, and Koncept P.

The track captures everything that makes Treety special — bold, magnetic, and fiercely New Orleans. “It just gives New Orleans to me… I’m rapping about ‘it ain’t no fun if my girls can’t come,’” she explains. It’s a statement track that celebrates sisterhood, energy, and the city’s unmatched vibe — and its release marks a major full-circle moment for New Orleans hip-hop.

With her blend of real rap, high-energy bounce, and raw authenticity, Treety isn’t just representing New Orleans — she’s redefining it. With that being said, she’s maintaining momentum and gearing up for the arrival of her highly acclaimed album, Trick or Treat dropping October 29th, ahead of spooky season. If you haven’t, be sure to pre-save the forthcoming project here at 24Hip-Hop. Lastly, let us know your thoughts in the comments.
