From St. Louis comes courtxo, an artist who started shaping his sound back in 8th grade. What began as a way to express himself quickly grew into something bigger, fueled by a love for rap and an experimental approach that leans into the alternative lane.
Inspired by artists like Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, and Famous Dex, as well as his own individuality, courtxo has developed a style that feels fresh while still nodding to the pioneers he looks up to. He points to Carti as his biggest influence, crediting him for pioneering a lot of what drives the current wave in rap.
Today marks a major milestone for courtxo as he officially drops his first EP, Do or Die. The project has been in the works since last year, but he says he’s only recently grown fully comfortable with his music, making this release a defining moment in his journey.
What’s Next
Looking ahead, courtxo is already planning his next project, which he’s thinking of naming xo. While the exact drop date isn’t locked in yet, fans won’t have to wait too long — he’s ready to keep the momentum rolling and share even more of himself through his music.
