WILLSTFU Turning Heartbreak and Small-Town Nights Into Songs That Stick

For WILLSTFU, music has always been more than just sound; it has been a way of making sense of the world. Born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, he first discovered his love for music in third grade when he joined a steel drum band. That early spark never faded. From there he taught himself to write, to produce, and to turn scattered feelings into melodies that speak to the kind of moments everyone knows but rarely says out loud.

Growing up in the South shaped his sound in ways that still run deep. Road trips and late-night radio filled his head with the stories of country singers and the hooks of pop stars. By the time he began finding his own voice, it felt natural to blend those influences together. The result is a style that merges the emotional pull of country storytelling with the catchiness of modern pop and the energy of rock. His music feels both familiar and new, like a song you swear you have heard before but with a twist that makes you want to play it again.

Citing artists like Morgan Wallen, Post Malone, Jon Pardi, Darius Rucker, and Luke Bryan as inspirations, WILLSTFU has carved out a lane that feels authentic to who he is. Whether strumming an acoustic guitar, drawing on his roots with the steel drum, or layering his own production, he makes songs that are honest and memorable. His first release proved just that. Seeing strangers connect with his music for the first time was the kind of validation that turned a dream into a career.

From there his journey has only grown. Building an audience online and releasing singles that highlight both his versatility and his storytelling, he has shown that self-producing and staying true to his instincts can lead to something real. His songs capture heartbreak, late-night drives, and small-town moments, but always in a way that makes space for listeners to find their own stories inside of them.

The next step for WILLSTFU is already here. After nearly a year of work, his debut pop-country album Late Nights drops on September 19, 2025. It represents not only the songs he has been writing but the experiences that shaped them, the long nights, the fleeting romances, the honest moments that build a life worth putting into music. And while this album is a milestone, it is only the beginning. He continues to write constantly, chasing the next hook, the next story, the next connection.

For WILLSTFU the goal is simple create music that lasts, music that feels true, and music that turns personal experiences into shared memories for anyone listening.
