Today we sit down with emerging North Carolina artist “Fuse” to discuss about his latest single, upcoming projects, and more in-depth convo behind the music. First off, let’s take a dive into this year and what’s come to fruition already.
1.) Q: What is your name and what city do you rep?
My Name is William Wrighten but I go by the name of Fuse and I’m from Elizabeth City North Carolina.
2.) Q: What’s your most memorable moment this year, so far?
My most memorable moments this year was definitely performing on my birthday in Raleigh NC at the Nuvo Lounge.
3.) Q: What’s the meaning behind your latest track “Bounce”?
Bounce is just a feel good high energy dance track that makes you wanna move and just get up and Bounce enjoy your time and your energy.
4.) Q: Any upcoming projects? That you can speak on…
Yes I got 2 singles dropping in October of this year One of the singles is with my girl Shannel Best The other is high energy track called Ahhhhh!!! Also got an album coming out next year God willing I’m super excited about that.
5.) Q: What goals would you like to accomplish this year?
I would like continue to focus on the business aspect of my music and continue the grinding process. The Grind never stops and I gotta stay focused and consistent and continue to build.
6.) Q: If you could collaborate with any artist, who would that be?
I’ve always been a huge fan of NAS and Redman so either one of them would be amazing to do.
7.) Q: At the end of the day, all artists have something that drives them. What’s your daily motivation?
Everyday it drives me to build success and inspiration being inspired allows me the drive to inspire other in a similar situation as myself and give them inspiration.
8.) Q: When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?
I realized it at an early age I’d say mid teens when I knew my words and my songs helped others get thru there day and inspire them. That’s a good feeling knowing that your art and craft can boost someone to get thru tough times I knew it then.
