Strategy KI, born Reuben Leighton Kennedy, 05 November 1992, Southend (Essex), United Kingdom, is a British rapper/entrepreneur. He is the CEO and founder of Immortal Mixed.It (Formally known as Immortal Music Records).
He attended Northbrook Metropolitan College and later, The University of Brighton where he studied Music Technology. He graduated in 2014, earning himself a 2.1 in his Degree
Strategy KI has been a supporting act for such artists as; Bugzy Malone, Eyez, Shystie, Million Dan.
By 2016, Strategy KI had carved his name deep into the industry by flooding the internet with endless music. His passion and knowledge of music led him to consistently record and release new music, building up a loyal fan-base.
Back in April 2019, Strategy KI and the ESC team was a head-line act at the O2 academy, Islington (London).
During the 2020 Lockdown (due to covid-19), He sharpened up his lyrical abilities. He shifted away from making the ‘wave auto-tune’ music that he had been previously been pushing and started to make an impact in the UK Drill music scene.
He got himself a synchronisation deal with his song Get This in a Netflix original film entitled ‘The Beast (La Belva 2020)’
In 2021 he mad his debut appearance on Link Up TV along side ESC member Arno. The music video was entitled ‘Shine’. However, due to an on-going police investigation, this video was removed and is no longer available to watch.
That’s same year he also dropped visuals for; Ghost (Link Up TV), ESC (Link Up TV), Ops Go (GRM Daily), Organic (P110) and Still Shining (VEVO). That year, it was a clear indication that no matter what, this talented artist is here to stay!
This year he released That’s Just Tips with chart-topping rapper/singer T-Pain. This song also features ESC member; Simple Life. The backing instrumental is a cross-over UK drill song blended with R&B elements. It is the perfect combination in harmonic melodies. That’s Just Tips was produced by Netherland producer Jumble Beats.
