Scotty V is a new musical sensation from Chicago, Illinois. His music career started while he was incarcerated. As he says, he was “just in jail blessed with a pen.” Without his dark past, he wouldn’t have anything to make music about.
He wants his followers to know that you can turn your life around when you are placed in a difficult situation. Scotty is passionate about rap music and his goal in the music industry is to carry a message of recovery to his listeners and bring rap music back to life.
When we asked Scotty V why he chose to make music, he replied, “Music is my new high so I bring it raw and in-cut. I live this life, so I dropped 35 more on the V album. After this project dropped, it put me at almost 150 tracks within the last year.” Although Heroin was his hardest obstacle to overcome, he has many accomplishments that put him on the next level. His addiction track hit over 150 countries worldwide!
Scotty V is an independent artist and his newest music, the whole 9 EP , dropped on July 8. His team consists of Strapdon Machiavelli beats along with Moskie baby, who is also his engineer. If he could pick one thing that his listeners would gain from his music, he would want them to feel a sense of hope for the future.
