Born in Durham, NC, Kwame would grow up in Lusaka, Zambia with his Ghanian heritage. According to Kwame K.O, “I was exposed to different aspects of international cultures with a burning passion for creativity.” While still young, Kwame realized he had a special passion for being creative. He gained an interest in painting, photography and began creating music at the age of 14. “Singing in my primary school’s choir is probably when I fell in love with music”, Kwame explains. He would go on to write his first single titled “ I Want Ya”, a song that formally introduced Kwame “the artist” to the world. Kwame would continuously gain new fans by collaborating with various other talented independent artists.
After moving back to the United States with the release of his first album “Partial Prints”, Kwame K.O is ready to explode with amazing new material.
