There a number of talented new artists on the come up, one of whom is “Sour Lyrics”. Born Devin Lemon on September 26, 1988 in Newark, New Jersey. Sour Lyric’s family would eventually move to Atlanta a few months after his birth. Raised by single a mother of two, Devin found music as an outlet for his life journey.
The name “Sour Lyrics” came from life experiences growing up. According to Sour, “trials and tribulations developed a sour perception about life and my music is how I express my journey.” Sour Lyrics is one third of the music group Rhythm&Poetryent. Sour Lyrics has grown to establish himself as a solo artist in the music industry after doing multiple projects with other members of the group.
The group collaboratively dropped several classics highlighted for their title “The Lost Mixtapes Volumes I and II”. As a solo artist, Sour Lyrics is currently building his brand and even gained over 1.56k subscribers on YouTube! Sour Lyrics made a mark in 2019 with his project, “Birth of a Monster.” Through trials and tribulations Sour Lyrics took his time and worked on his craft and released 4 more albums, “Move In Silence”, “Grace Of Destruction” and “Old to Me/New to You”. Sour Lyrics has been focused on building his career in the underground market.
