Turk has put the Hot Boys back in focus after sharing new rehearsal footage with Lil Wayne, Juvenile and B.G. ahead of the upcoming Cash Money and No Limit joint tour. The Instagram post, shared Friday, August 14, also showed longtime Cash Money producer Mannie Fresh in the room as the New Orleans veterans worked through music together. Turk kept his caption concise, writing, “Too Many Legends,” as the clips offered a fresh look at the group together.

The footage shows the artists gathered in a studio-style rehearsal setting with musicians and other people around them, but Turk did not explain exactly what the session was preparing for. That unanswered question is especially notable because the Cash Money and No Limit tour is scheduled to begin in September. Neither Turk nor Lil Wayne has been officially announced as part of the tour lineup, so the rehearsal should not be treated as confirmation that either rapper will join the run.

According to Complex, the 17-city arena tour is set to feature Juvenile, B.G., Mannie Fresh, Birdman, Master P, Silkk the Shocker, Mia X, Mac, Mercedes, Fiend, Choppa Style and Mr. Serv-On, with Boosie Badazz appearing as a special guest. Master P announced the trek in June under the billing “Two Empires. One Stage. One Time.” The concept brings two of New Orleans hip-hop’s most influential label families together for a major live run after their Verzuz matchup at ComplexCon in Las Vegas last year.

Lil Wayne’s presence at the rehearsal adds another layer to the moment because he was also absent from the Cash Money and No Limit Verzuz event. The new footage nevertheless shows Wayne back alongside the artists with whom he helped establish the Hot Boys as one of Cash Money’s defining groups. Turk and Wayne have also continued to maintain a musical connection, including Turk’s 2024 “You Mad Yet” Hot Boys remix featuring Wayne.

For Turk, the gathering is particularly significant after his dispute surrounding Cash Money’s 30th anniversary tour. He previously sued Artists by Artists Agency LLC and Dope Show Inc., alleging that he had agreed to a $400,000 deal to participate before being removed after declining a reduced payment. The promoters responded with a $12 million countersuit accusing Turk of attempting to sabotage the tour, but both cases were later dropped.

The rehearsal footage does not settle whether fans will see a fuller Hot Boys presence when the Cash Money and No Limit tour begins, but it does document Turk, Wayne, Juvenile, B.G. and Mannie Fresh working together again. That alone makes the session a notable development after the lineup questions and business disputes that have surrounded recent Cash Money reunion events. Any tour appearance by Turk or Wayne would still require an official announcement, leaving the new footage as a reunion moment rather than confirmation of an expanded tour roster.
