Tom Hardy has taken his long-running hip-hop side career to album length, joining Czarface for a 15-track project under his Frankie Pulitzer rap identity.
Tom Hardy and Czarface have officially released Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer, turning the actor’s Frankie Pulitzer alter ego into the centerpiece of a full collaborative album. The project arrived August 28 through Silver Age and pairs Hardy with the comic-book-inspired hip-hop group made up of Inspectah Deck, 7L and Esoteric.
The 15-song record runs 47 minutes and includes guest appearances from Busta Rhymes, Method Man and El-P, with Kendra Morris also appearing on “Frankie.” Tracks include “Brothers Grimm,” “Raw Forever,” “Mad Technology,” “Dragon Canon” and “Grim-Visaged War,” giving the project the kind of dense rap and pop-culture world-building associated with Czarface’s catalog.
Hardy’s move into a full album is less sudden than it may look from his film career. As Complex reported when the project was announced, he had already worked with Czarface going back to 2021, while his interest in rapping stretches back to his younger years and recordings made long before he became an international movie star.
Frankie Pulitzer has since become a recurring presence in the Czarface universe, including appearances on earlier releases and the 2024 track “Knull & Void” with Method Man. The new album expands that relationship into a complete project, placing Hardy alongside the group rather than treating his rap persona as a one-off celebrity cameo.
Czarface’s own history makes the pairing fit its established “Meets” series. The group has previously built full-length collaborations around artists including MF DOOM and Ghostface Killah, blending underground rap production with superhero imagery, serialized characters and a visual identity rooted heavily in comic-book culture.
For Hardy, Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer is the clearest official showcase yet of a musical path that predates much of his acting fame. With the album now available across major streaming services, Frankie Pulitzer has moved from a recurring Czarface character into a full-length recording partner, giving Hardy’s rap work its biggest platform to date.
