Quavo Releases Pharrell-Produced ‘Trance (Walk It Down)’ From QRÖMELIFE

Published on August 18, 2026

Quavo has released “Trance (Walk It Down),” the second preview of his forthcoming Pharrell Williams-produced album QRÖMELIFE.

Quavo returned on August 14, 2026 with “Trance (Walk It Down)”, the second single from his upcoming album QRÖMELIFE. According to Complex, the project is entirely produced by Pharrell Williams.

The club-focused track interpolates Shannon’s 1983 hit “Let the Music Play” and is built around booming 808s, bouncing hi-hats and sharp percussion. Quavo leans into his melodic delivery throughout the record, matching the upbeat production with a hook designed around the repeated “walk it down” refrain.

“Trance (Walk It Down)” follows “HAAVIN”, which launched the QRÖMELIFE campaign in June. That song was first unveiled during Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2027 Men’s show at Cité Internationale Universitaire in Paris.

The new single also arrives with an official music video co-directed by Quavo and Daps. Filmed at a luxury villa and aboard a yacht in Marbella, Spain, the visual mirrors the track’s party-driven atmosphere with a mix of fashion, nightlife and high-end surroundings.

Quavo has described working with Pharrell Williams as a process that pushed him to be more versatile and expand his approach as an artist. With Pharrell handling production across QRÖMELIFE, the collaboration is shaping the sound of Quavo’s next solo chapter from the ground up.

QRÖMELIFE will be Quavo’s first solo studio album since Rocket Power, which arrived in 2023. With “HAAVIN” and “Trance (Walk It Down)” now out, the rollout is offering a clearer look at the direction Quavo and Pharrell are taking on the forthcoming project.
