Phoebe Green shares her first release since the self-released 2016 album, 02:00 AM. The track’s transition shows an enormous development both musically and personally.
Having recently signed to Chess Club Records, Phoebe Green – along with her incredible band – have shared in this latest single ‘Dreaming Of’ a possible contender for the best indie-pop track of 2019.
The song depicts Green’s genuine and gritty style of making music. She opens the song against a thundering drumbeat, wasting no time in bringing her regretful feelings to the surface.
On her self-released 2016 mixtape 02:00 AM, Green showed an uncanny ability to move between power-anthem choruses and moments of tenderness. “Dreaming Of” offers more of the same with a self-reflexive twist.
