After 23 years Apart, Offset reunited with his father.
The Migos Rapper shared a video of the touching meeting on Instagram. In the clip, the father and son are seen shedding tears and sharing a long warm embrace and handshake.
In the caption, Offset reflected on the long-awaited reunion. “DREAMS DO COME TRUE HAVENT SEEN MY FATHER IN 23 YEARS !!!!!!” he wrote. “AND I STILL LOVE HIM THE PAST IS THE PAST AND THE PRESENT IS ALL WE HAVE TO RELY ON WE NOT PERFECT IN ANY SHAPE OR FORM I LOVE YOU POPS !!! NO MATTER WHAT!!!!”
Offset revealed on “The Breakfast Club” in February that he hadn’t seen his father since he was 4 years old and they hadn’t even talked to each other since 2016 but he made it clear he was more than open to reuniting.
“Last time I talked to him was 2016,” Offset revealed.” Every time I talk to him, [I’m] offering. I ain’t never been the kid that’s been like…I’ve always been the kid, like… why he don’t like me? He tripping. I’m rich. I’m trying to give him the money.”
