Thanks in part to Jerry Lorenzo‘s interest in the silhouette, the Nike Air Raid is finally poised to return in its OG form.
Released originally in 1992, the Tinker Hatfield design is seeing what is effectively one of its best renditions in the past decade, a refinement of a colorway that re-released not too long ago in 2014.
Versatile all in all, the majority of the construction is hued in black neutrals. Tumbled leathers provide a clean polish at the forefoot and collar, while nubucks and mesh under layers appear far more matted by comparison.
Straps accent with brighter, contrasted hits of Flint Grey in match of the toe box as well as the tongue and lateral branding.
The Nike Air Raid in black and gray has been reported to return on September 30, but this has yet to be officially confirmed by the Swoosh.
