Patent-Leather and Neoprene from the French Atelier.
As a follow up to Maison Margiela‘s Fusion Low “Bubblegum Mix” Sneakers unveiled a while back, the French Atelier has returned with futuristic textiles covering two of its Replica models.
First up is the Maison Margiela Replica Neoprene Trainers, hued in a muted burgundy palette that includes subtle fraying at its seams. The shiny upper is contrasted with black laces, covering the numerical branding at the tongue. A triangular-shaped toe box covers the front panels, while a pair of white threads detail the heels. The second colorway is graced in patent-leather. Sharp hits of red line the inner collar juxtaposed by a clean exterior. As a finishing note, white threads also appear on the heel panels completed by a black midsole that underscores both the colorways.
