MVTHIVS is a multifaceted musician and artist who is emerging in the UK HipHop and Rap scene. Starting out in 2015, MVTHIVS began his musical career creating freestyles and mixing/mastering all on his own; too nervous to upload to streaming platforms, MVTHIVS debuted his releases on Soundcloud and amassed a tight-knit audience. 3 years on, in 2018 MVTHIVS impressively landed himself a deal with a record label with a company based in the US; he went onto release two studio albums with this label which gave him his first taste of music as a professional career and enabled him to begin discovering what type of artist he’d like to be.
He then went independent and carefully curated his craft and released a further two studio albums under a previous artist name. His new name, MVTHIVS, was brought in to mark a fresh start and is pronounced ‘Mathias‘ meaning ‘Gift from God’ in Hebrew. ‘I want people to feel connected and feel each breath of my emotions crafted into recognizable artwork; for each song to be a release, or to heal what’s broken inside others.’ MVTHIVS is a constantly evolving creative force who excites audiences with each and every one of his releases.
