Embiid finished with 28 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists as the 76ers beat Milwaukee 127-116 to improve to 3-0.
Joel Embiid supplied a complete offensive performance for the Philadelphia 76ers on October 24, recording a 28-point triple-double against the Milwaukee Bucks. Philadelphia’s 127-116 victory extended its unbeaten start to three games while Milwaukee remained without a win.
As NBC Philadelphia’s game coverage details, Embiid added 11 rebounds and 10 assists. His passing was especially valuable on a night when the Sixers converted 19 of 44 three-point attempts.
The center did not need a dominant shooting percentage to lead the team. He went eight-of-20 from the field, but 12 made free throws in 14 attempts kept his scoring efficient enough to complement the playmaking. He played 36 minutes, making a substantial contribution without needing every possession to end with his own shot.
Jaylen Brown scored 27 points while Tyrese Maxey finished with 26. Together with Embiid, they accounted for 81 points, giving Philadelphia three substantial scoring threats rather than asking one player to carry the entire result.
VJ Edgecombe added 17 points and secured an important offensive board late in the game. NBC’s recap also credits him with a steal that helped create a Kentavious Caldwell-Pope three-pointer as Philadelphia resisted Milwaukee’s final push.
The final box score shows the Sixers received scoring contributions from across the rotation, with Caldwell-Pope finishing on 12 points. Three games cannot settle the season’s larger questions, but Philadelphia has already shown multiple ways to generate offense, and Embiid’s combination of passing and foul-line production was central to this win.
