Meek says his new Roc chain is worth 36 Grammys.
Yesterday, Meek Mill was spotted out with two of the game’s greats in Jay-Z and Fabolous. The trio was out in New York as Fab posted a few photos to his personal account, detailing the night as it happened.
Meek has been garnering an insane amount of attention for the last month as his Championships album has performed incredibly, serving as one of the better projects to release all year.
He managed to get Jay-Z on the work with the legend spitting some classic bars on ‘What’s Free,” which acted as one of the best verses of 2018. There is definitely a mutual respect between Hov and Meek, which was proven with Jay actually gifting the Philly rapper with the chain off his own neck.
Meek posted a photo of his brand new Roc Nation chain, telling the world that Hov actually took it off his own neck for the artist to keep. He was clearly impressed with the action, noting how valuable the piece is to him. “This jawn 36 grammies,” he wrote. The neckpiece is decked out in diamonds and, considering it was once around Hov’s neck, it’s got to be pretty precious for Meek.
It’s a dream for most rappers to get the co-sign from Hov and Meek can now say that he’s the owner of the man’s chain. Check out a capture of his Instagram story above.
