Hailing from Lansing, Michigan is an artist who goes by J Chase. In Lansing he was able to officially begin his musical ventures and started off in a local group called Black Diamond. Later he decided to part ways with the group and continue as a solo artist. His solo career catapulted with his first release of his mixtapes such as “Gumbo” and “My Reality”.
His name began to spread as he began opening for some of the biggest names in the industry such as Juicy J, Rich Homie Quan, Cardi B and others. His performance where he opened for Rich Homie Quan and Kid Ink at the MSU auditorium was the performance that set the tone for his career. The crowd loved him. He was a natural.
Jay’s creative process is one where he indulges in the creating on his own. He has learned to record, mix and master his content and prefers to create in his own domain solo. Currently he is pushing his latest release titled “Another Late Night”. That record has helped open a ton of doors for this young artist. Popular records on that project include “Vacation “produced by Piano boy and another track titled “Gotta Do It” produced by Kaz Drumatik.
He does have some new singles releasing soon as well. The first one being “Blessed” produced by Kaz Drumatik and the visual directed by Victor Manuel, D’Kwon Guerrero, and Monte Wilson.
