Tell us about yourself;
I am princedon. I’m from Denver, Colorado. For me personally music is my life. I’ve been listening to music all my life like others. However for me it was an escape from my current life situations. Growing up my mom never really had money. Which in turn I never had internet or console. But she did buy me a boom box. So I constantly was listening to music on the radio. I was always freestyling and singing songs on the radio. Rapping over artist or just singing with artists. That’s why I have such a huge appreciation for music. It got me through so many times. Whether they were happy, sad, hype, calm moments.
Im different as an artist because I grew up on music it was my life. I listened to so many different types of music. Saw trends of music fade in and out of mainstream play. So I want to bring back the music that made me happy or the music that got me in my feels. I combine everything I’ve listened to in my music. From artist like David Guetta, LMFAO, Katy Perry etc… All the way to artist like Lil Wayne, Eminem, Lil uzi, Juice Wrld, Futuristic, Devvon Terrell, and Kyle.
I bring so many different backgrounds to my music which is why I feel I’m different. In the next 5 years I see myself having a song out for everyone. Not everyone is going to like my music however I want to have songs where people can be like “ that song is good” even though they may not listen to that genre of music.
Music is to be enjoyed by all. There’s no gender, race, age or ethnicity that defines whether or not u can listen to a song. That’s why I see myself being at that point in life. Me personally I bring a new energy and approach to the music world. Not one person is like me. People can say I may sound a little like that person but no one person can say I’m them. To call my self different is an understatement.
I’m unique, I look at life from the perspective of trying to grow. Not only as an individual but to push others to be more open minded. I want to be remembered by who I am as a person. To let people I’m not perfect. To know that I may seem happy but I’m not always happy. Sometimes I may not be in the mood to talk. To know that i make mistakes but I don’t let them define my character. I am princedon and that’s who and what I am.
