I think growing up in London, but also having lived across the world for 6 years has exposed me to a variety of music and has influenced my sound.
What shaped your music?
My life experiences shaped my music. Especially family, friends and my travels around the world. Growing up poor in a working class family, really gave me a different outlook in life.
When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?
I had aspirations to become a professional MMA fighter in Thailand but quickly realised it wasn’t for me. That day to day grind of training between training sessions I fell back in love with music and thought to myself. “It takes 10,000 to master a craft and beocome. If I spent 3 hours a day making music, I could make something happen. “ From the day I first started I knew I was going to do it professionally.
I shared my music journey by creating videos on Youtube where I’ve grown a loyal community of over 400,000 subscribers from all over the world. .
What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?
The gym, I keep myself in good shape going every day and have a passion for martial arts having trained in boxing, Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Happiness to you is…
Freedom and indpenedence to do what you want to do.
What do you wish you were told when you first started making music that you think would help artists just starting out?
Patience, it takes time to get good. I’ve invested hundreds of hours learning, studying, mixing, mastering, sampling, making melodies and cooking up trap and drill beats.
Find a niche you can conquer so you can find your unique sound that you can be known for.
Tell us about your upcoming projects…
I plan to drop more videos on YouTube each week that push the producer community forward. I’m working on new sample packs, drum kits, midi’s as well as a new plugin.
Any last words for the readers?
